BRIGHT FUTURE & BRIDGITTE WYRE - LARGE SENIOR CROSSBREED WINNER
She looks like a BSD X, especially head to shoulder where she looks like an out of coat Groenendael . Her back is very long, as is her tail & she is thin waisted – rather like a lurcher. A lot of people think she has Flat-coat Retriever in her – who knows? Her temperment is fantastic – she loves everyone (despite her background which I am glad I didn’t know from the start) & everything. I have a problem dog who is difficult with other dogs – within 15 minutes of bringing Della home they were playing – something he had never done before, he was 4 years old! Della loves hunting (given half a chance) when we are out walking & can she run! She overtakes my parent’s greyhound! We wouldn’t be without her – agility is a bonus & her successes in the ring & leagues is the icing on the cake. 
Della is now 3 and a half and I rehomed her when she was 11months. Della was a replacement pet when an old dog died. She was brought home one day by the man in the household with apparently no consultation with his partner. They already had 3 pre-school children & following an ectopic pregnancy the woman said she could not cope with the dog. About 9 months after we got her I found out that the children in particular had been really cruel to her, & it was noticeable when I first had her that she was very wary of people with sticks.
